I’ve learned several things about grief over the last seven days:
My brain does not connect the dots when I’m grieving … at least not in the way that I expect.
My heart is broken and sometimes I feel physical pain.
My body needs more grounding and corn chips than usual. I’ve been craving corn chips — and acting on the cravings. At this time, there is not a single corn chip left in the house.
Today, I’ll be working in the yard to keep my mind off of corn chips and also for some much needed grounding.
Grounding for all of us
I’ve sent all paid subscribers Reiki Recharge™ 🐦🔥 in the usual way today and will reinforce with more Reiki throughout the week. When I pause for self-Reiki this week, I’ll also send a boost to all of us.
Life is beautiful and painful … kinda always, even when we’re not grieving. When in doubt, try grounding. Grounding always helps.
Love you guys.
