Reiki is real 🌀 It's also invisible.
About the day I said Yes to Reiki.
Note: This page includes content from an earlier post, adapted here for a new purpose.
My first exposure to Reiki was in May 2019. A friend had offered me a Reiki session and I almost said no out of embarrassment. At the time, I was experiencing abdominal pain and I was afraid I’d pass gas or something and humiliate myself. Fortunately, I said yes.
After only twenty minutes of Reiki, the abdominal pain was gone.
Two months later, I started Reiki training.
Learning Reiki took patience and practice. A daily meditation practice made all of the difference in my growth. Through meditation, I became comfortable with stillness. I became more comfortable with myself.
Reiki is real. It is also invisible.
In the early days, I wished that I could see Reiki energy. Then, a few years ago, I began to sketch, intuitively. The Reiki vibration loves color.
My sketches are not intended to represent Reiki visually. Instead, I sketch the energy that I feel in my hands 🙌 when Reiki is flowing. The energy comes to life through my colored pencils on paper.
I am grateful.
